THE VOICES PROJECT
THAW partners with Seven Stories Press and Anthony Arnove, co-editor of Voices of a People's History of the United States. Voices… is the long-awaited primary-source companion to A People's History of the United States. For this new book, Howard Zinn and Arnove have selected testimonies—speeches, letters, poems, songs, memoirs, protests-from our rich history of resistance. The THAW's VOICES Project cultivates community partnerships in each of the five boroughs, with local youth giving voice to struggle spanning over 400 years of US history, linking past struggles to the present.
